Winter Nature Study - Twigs

This week was devoted to TWIGS! It was a really nice day and we collected twigs from a number of different trees found in the area.

Gotta love when learning something new requires an outdoor excursion, and a little tobogganing with friends doesn't hurt either :)

    Great nature study!

    Wish I could get my kids to sketch more in their nature journals...they get really picky about how their drawings look. I tell them that it doesn't have to be perfect!

    Hooray for tobagganing! We finally got some snow (while we were on vacation) so now we can go to our favorite sledding hill.
