Cottage Week

We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was ourselves and the children up there and we were all able to reconnect and relax. We had a couple visits from family throughout the week which was a lot of fun :)

This concludes our plans for the summer. The month of August will be a slower pace with lots of curriculum planning ahead. Here are some pictures of our vacation:

Little Lake Explorations

We went with some friends to Little Lake and did some snooping around. I've not been out to the area before and it was really a great area to explore. A few things we figured out pretty quickly were to:

1. Bring the darn bug spray
2. Bring rubber boots
3. Bring the darn bug spray

So with those things in mind we will definitely be heading back there again soon :)

Beach Day!

The children were in camp all last week and the hubs and I at a Golf Tournament yesterday so today was family reconnect day :) We went to the beach for the day and enjoyed hot temperatures and surprisingly not so cold water LOL

Tourette Syndrome Wonderland Day!

We were really fortunate to receive 4 free tickets from the Tourette Syndrome Association of Ontario. July 7th was a day for TS families to enjoy the park and have a free lunch as well. We lucked out as the morning was a little wet so the boy got on a HUGE number of rides as did the girl, with very little wait. Oma came with us and was able to be with one while I was with the other.

We managed to get into the water park that day as the afternoon was HOT.

July Break

Things are quiet here at the moment because we are enjoying the summer and just plain ole having a break!

The children are starting day camps tomorrow and both are very excited :) The hubs and I are also have a great week together as he is on holidays. We are planning on enjoying each others company and relaxing.

We also have a cottage rented this month as well. So after July I hope to get all my planning done for the upcoming school year and get back to it the 2nd or 3rd week of August :)

So if you don't hear from us, we'll be back, we're just on vacation :) Hope everyone has a safe and fun summer!

All Done Kindergaten!! Yay!

My big girl has finally finished Kindergarten!! She is quite excited about this as she has been wanting to homeschool like her brother for some time! So for grade 1 she will be home :)

They do an annual Teddy Bear Picnic for the kinders.
