The Gruesomes

I saw this cool idea while looking for something artsy fartsy to do and came across a site http://www.kinderart.com/sculpture/clayheads.shtml that was doing clay sculptures.

Deep thoughts...hmmmm  

We used some scrap wood from our tree trimmings and an old board for the base

Shaping the paper so he can put the clay on top

Mr. Monkey's is leaning somewhat LOL  We decided his looked most like an Orc from Lord of the Rings.  Mine we decided looked more like a troll :)
