We have started a most exciting and tasty new venture, Eating Our Way Around the World! Carol a fellow homeschooler had this fantastic idea and we were more than happy to take part! This month we focused on Holland. We came to realize that the Dutch have a love of potatoes and bacon LOL Being from a Dutch background I was excited to try my hand at food I wouldn't normally prepare, and thanks to my mom it went better then I thought it would. Carol painted these great little boxes and the children were drawing traditional type pictures on them to decorate. They are trying to mimick that of
Hindeloopen style painting.
