She's a Chef!
We've been looking at Community Helpers over the past week or so and Little Miss picked a Chef to learn about. She made the salad all by herself while I schooled Mr. Monkey and did a great job. She also picked truffles to make, which as we know not the healthiest choice, but she wanted to try her hand at being a dessert chef LOL They were YUMMY!

A Quick Jaunt
Bata Shoe & Gardiner Museum
We had a trip to the Bata Shoe Museum and Gardiner Museum in October! Yes I'm late :)
These 2 locations were pretty cool! The kiddos got to see shoes from different cultures and time periods at Bata Shoes and then after a quick lunch over to the Gardiner for sculpting their own shoes :)
Thanks to Carol for organizing and taking pictures :)

Remembrance Day
We woke up this morning to SNOW!! The children were EXCITED and played outside until it was time to go down for Remembrance Day. The service was was nice and the entire street was packed. A wonderful tribute.

Our tree in the backyard this snowy morning!

Winogradsky - November
Here is our updated Winogradsky picture. We've got a big droopy thing in there right now, and the water is a bit darker and cloudier.

Royal Winter Fair
It's been such a long time since I've posted anything! Rest assured we are busy and doing well :) I can't seem to find our camera but thankfully my mom brought hers along!
The Royal was great as usual, busier this year though with school groups. Next year I may see if going earlier will be any better. We had friends join us this year as well which was fun! I think the dog show was the highlight again this year but both kiddos enjoyed the livestock all over the place as well!
Here are some shots from the day!

When they are just like you...
The boy has been doing some math lately that has caused us a little grief LOL Nothing earth shattering just something I too struggle with... measurement and conversions. I've always used ft and inches or a hand gesture to indicate about that much... Apparently there is a more accurate method albeit elusive for this momma to nail down. I apparently missed ALL my own school lessons as it pertained to mm & cm. Huh.
The boy and I are two peas in a pod... He's not too sure what to be multiplying by what and if he does get it couldn't explain how he arrived at it. Hmmm....
In walks husband human calculator to save the day... I hope.
Bump, bump, bumping along!
